PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CONTRACT HAS NOW BEEN AWARDED~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have a requirement for a sole contractor to provide repair and maintenance to all internal and external building fabric and grounds including:•All carpentry and joinery•Minor plumbing works•Redecoration•Roofing•Cleaning of gutters and down pipes•Flooring•Window repairs or replacement•Door repairs or replacements•Repairs to out buildings•Repairs or rebuilding of brick work•Tiling•Fencing•Boundary walls•Repairs to drill towers•Plastering>> Please note that only suppliers scoring 75% or higher in the Pre-Qualification stage will be taken through to tender. The weightings are listed against the scored questions in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire attached.>> There will also be a minimum threshold of 65% on the overall quality scoring of the tender.>> Bidding organisations who do not provide their Constructionline number with their submission will be automatically excluded.>> The service shall be provided under the NEC Term Service Contract June 2005 (with amendments 2006).>> The contract will commence on 21st December 2015 (or near to) and will be for a period of 1 year with the option to extend for up to a maximum period of 24 months.>> The contract will be direct to South Wales Fire & Rescue Service. The contract will cover 49 Fire Stations plus Headquarters.>> For further information of the requirements please see the attached invitation letter and tender pack.
