Descriptions
Background. Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) is currently undertaking an ambitious 20mph 'signs and lines' programme across the county. The programme commenced in 2022/23 and is expected to last until 2024/25. The programme expects to implement 20mph limits in 80% of parishes throughout the county. As part of this programme a number of towns and parishes require the replacement of their existing 30mph vehicle activated signs (VAS's), with 20mph VAS's in areas where the new limits have been introduced. Key Contract Features. The form of contract is the JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contractor design. Advertised and awarding through an Open Tender and for a target period of eight months or as long as is required for completion of specified works.
