Conwy County Borough Council’s Property Management & Asset Services Department wish to invite Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified companies for the performance of the following contract:Replacement of 4 mains gas and 2 oil boilers at three schools in the Conwy Council area.Interested companies MUST satisfy ALL of the following requirements:1. Registered on the Gas Safe Register for Natural gas work on commercial boilers & heating appliances.2. Registered with OFTEC for work on commercial boilers & heating appliances.3. Demonstrate competence to the satisfaction of the Employer.4. Carry out all responsibilities without using sub-contractors (except for builders and specialist works).5. Have successfully carried out a similar contract, in the last 5 years, for two or more local, health and/or government authority.6. Have sufficient capacity and resources to carry out and complete the works in the period 20th July 2012 to 3rd September 2012 inclusive ie school summer holiday period.You MUST provide an official signed letter confirming that you will comply with ALL of the above along with your tender submission.Contract to be awarded on a best price basis and assessment of competence.Contractors must be covered by insurance for the amount of £10,000,000 Employer’s Liability, £5,000,000 Public Liability and £1,000,000 Property Insurance.
