Part funded by Innovate UK, part of a Department of UK HM Government, the Catapult is an independent innovation and technology company, created to foster growth across the economy through the exploitation of space. The Satellite Applications Catapult's world-class facilities and expertise enable the best businesses, researchers and end-users to work with us to develop new satellite-based products, services and applications, translating ideas from concept to market. The Catapult is installing an antenna test range at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Harrell, Oxfordshire. The range will include two antenna towers and cover all satellite communication bands from C to Ka.The Catapult seeks replacement of obsolete and life expired equipment to complete the installation of the range. The requirement includes, but is not limited to replacement of the following obsolete items:— Agilent 50 GHz RF Source 83650B— Agilent Lo/IF distribution Unit 85309A— Agilent Receiver 8530A— Agilent 20 GHz LO Source 83623B— Microwave System Amplifier 83050A (new requirement).
