Replacement of Pay and Display Car Park Ticket Machines

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority is looking to procure two replacement pay and display car parking machines at two of its visitor centres. This is one machine at each site.The machines are located at The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre at Libanus, near Brecon, and at Craig y nos Country Park in the Swansea valley.The existing machines are mains powered, and are coin only operated. We use a basic pay on foot method, with drivers placing tickets in front windscreen. This works well for us and we would want to continue with this method of service, but we would like to be able to accept notes and card payments via both chip and pin and contactless methods. The machines should also be ready to accept the new £1 coin, and have capacity to adapt to any new coin introductions in the future. We do not use an ANPR system, or need drivers to enter their registration at the machine.The two machines do not have data connectivity for card payments at present, but they are both sited close to buildings which have sufficient connectivity capacity to provide this, we would simply need to provide a data cable from the building to the machine.
