This is a Request for Information (RFI) for an eProcurement System for North of England Commissioning Support (NECS). North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) was established on the 1st April 2013. It is based in the North East of England and delivers high quality innovative commissioning support services to a range of clients, consisting of multiple Clinical Commissioning Groups who between them serve the communities of County Durham and Darlington, North of Tyne, South of Tyne and Wear, Teesside and Cumbria. One of the service offerings that NECS deliver is healthcare procurement in order to improve the quality of people’s lives and as a result drive up quality, value and service to stakeholders and customers through innovative practice. The scope of this service line extends to include procurement support for NHS England North. The purpose of the RFI document is to obtain information and feedback from Potential Providers in the following areas in relation to the draft proposals for an eProcurement System: •Investigate and better understand the capability and capacity of potential providers to deliver the proposed system; •Understand the interest of providers; •Aid benchmarking activities which will assist in financial modelling; and •Assist in the consideration of the proposed Outcome criteria. Potential Providers are requested to complete the RFI documentation by 12 noon Tuesday 15 December 2015. Following receipt of the RFI responses, providers will be invited to 1:1 sessions with NECS to be held the week commencing of 4th January 2016.
