This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) Call for Competition issued in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations and is issued to give notice to the market that NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) intends to issue invitations to confirm interest of suitably qualified and experienced dispensing contractors to provide a pilot for a Catheter Appliance Management Service. The pilot will include a centralised support service that will be responsible for all aspects of Catheter Appliance prescribing needs, overseen by specialist Nurse Clinicians who have an in depth understanding of Catheter Care as well as being qualified to authorise prescriptions. The pilot aims to improve patient care whilst reducing prescribing spend.
