Request for Quotes for the supply of a trailer to transport bicycles for a bicycle hire enterprise

The Mullicháin Café is to acquire a trailer capable of transporting at least 16 bicycles, with the following specification:•Spare wheel and jockey wheel•Fully integrated lights•Securing straps  •Rear wheel 'V' centering bracket•Max Wheel Width 75mm•Overall Length 4490mm•Overall Width 1880mm•Overall Height 1700mm•Un-laden 268kg •Gross weight 650kgThe trailer should be suitable for use on public roads (i.e. be road-legal) and paved surfaces and as well as on uneven surfaces and greenway surfaces. The equipment should be easy and safe for operators to use and meet all appropriate Irish and EU standards. Safety devices (brakes, lights etc.) must be fitted as appropriate. Spare parts must be readily available. Suitable second-hand and new trailers will be considered.Please read the RFQ document that accompanies this notice.
