To replace existing roof covering and additional insulation to be incorporated into the roof as part of the project.To provides a watertight insulated envelope and improved roof insulation and hence SAP rating of building.Contractors should be able to use Marley Waterproofing flat Proprietary System or equivalent to achieve a minimum 20 Year Guarantee (life expectancy).Contractors should be able to demonstrate how they can make a contribution to the local economy and support the Community through Involvement with this project.Work will need to be Co-ordinated with other projects including Insulated Render Scheme and provision of photovoltaic’s and solar hot water• To improve U Values and protect structural integrity up to 12 Blocks of flats• Improve the appearance of the properties and community• Decrease energy consumption and carbon emissionsAchievable targets for completionThe work is to be completed on one 12 storey block of flats.
