STELIR research plans focus on the themes of inclusion and equity in teacher continuing professional development, as well as the use of blended learning that includes innovations in education technology. Mixed methods of enquiry have been employed, combining objective measurement and numerical analysis of data collected from language test results, course performance assessments and questionnaires a quantitative approach with more qualitative research techniques, such as focus group discussions and semi-structured interviews with individuals, to understand teacher cognitions, attitudes and experiences.
