Residential Homes Sound Insulation

Stansted Airport Ltd has offered a Sound Insulation Grant Scheme since 2005, offering households within certain noise level areas acoustic insulation. Based on historical analysis it is expected that over a 10 year period, 50 % of eligible residents will take up the scheme, on this basis, 1 000 properties will require sound insulation in line with recommendations from a home insulation survey. This will initially be for a 1 year period, to establish residence interest in the scheme. Stansted Airport Ltd is looking for expressions of interest for a professional services company to manage the process from start to finish and carry out all the works.
