RESPONSIVE REPAIRS & VOIDS AND HEATING
Descriptions
The Authority intends to establish a Contract with qualified and experienced organisations for its Responsive Repairs & Voids and Heating requirements for a period of 4 years, with the option to extend the Contract on two occasions for additional periods of 12 months (4 (+1 +1 years)).The principal aim of the Contract is to encourage the Authority and the Contractors to work with each other in an open, co-operative and collaborative manner in a spirit of mutual trust, respect and co-operation. In addition, the Authority aims to obtain better value for money through combining our responsive repairs requirements into specific Contracts.Lots 1 and 2 will also include the provision of minor Works on behalf of the Authority where necessary. The minor Works will normally result from other responsive repairs or completion of voids (e.g. roof repairs or major void refurbishment). The Contract provides for both minor Works up to the value of £15,000 (Core) as well as minor Works which exceed £15,000 (Non Core). Core minor Works shall be evaluated at the ITT stage whilst Non Core minor Works shall not be evaluated. Non Core minor Works shall only be undertaken at the Authority’s discretion and may be negotiated under separate terms of contract.The Authority acknowledges that the TUPE regulations may apply to this Contract. Further details shall be provided by the Authority at the ITT stage of the tender. Estimated spend per annum based on historic data is as follows: -Lot 1 (Responsive Repairs East) - £750,000 to £1,250,000Lot 2 (Responsive Repairs West) - £750,000 to £1,250,000Lot 3 (Heating) - £750,000 to £1,000,000
