The project is for for restoration of five storey grade 1 listed mill at Cromford Mill, Mill Lane, Cromford, Derbyshire, a World Heritage Site and will involve sub division of ground floor into lecture theatre and visitor reception and shop, upper floors sub divided into office space/creative clusters.The works comprise new ground slabs, repairs to upper floors, new access stair and lift, repairs to historic building fabric including rebuilding of chimney stack; internal partitions and all levels, internal and external doors, floor, wall and ceilings finishes, fixtures and fittings, mechanical and electrical services, drainage, external services and site works. Archaeological investigation and removal of contaminated material.Works to external building envelope roofs, external walls and windows has already been completed.
