Since its foundation Retail Ireland Skillnet (RIS) has been involved in the delivery of training and qualifications in the Retail sector offering a range of retail specific modules. Research conducted by RIS highlighted the need for a Degree in Retail Management Practice that would be delivered at a time which suits people working in the retail sector, fully accredited and fit within the National Framework of Qualifications. Following on from the research a programme was launched in 2012– BBS (Ordinary Degree) in Retail Management Practice. Retail Ireland Skillnet are now inviting tenders to evaluate the current programme and co-ordinate the re-development process. This will involve shaping a responsive programme that meets the retail sector’s needs. It must involve interviews and focus groups with a wide selection of the various sub-sectors of the retail industry, and adapt action learning methodologies. As well as close and ongoing engagement with Retail Ireland Skillnet and the academic staff. A number of factors will be taken into account when considering tender submissions, these include, but are not restricted to the following: 1.Experience in writing academic programmes2.Experience in writing retail specific programmes3.Experience within the retail industry 4.Knowledge of digital skills for the retail sector5.Level 9 qualification6.Sample of previous similar projects7.Approach of brief8.Standard of application9.PricePlease note: Retail Ireland Skillnet are not bound to take the lowest or any tender submitted.
