Revenues and Benefits Application Form Functionality

Descriptions

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic the Revenues and Benefits Service has been responsible for administering many of the government's schemes and initiatives designed to provide financial support to individuals and businesses. The demand on the service has been great and has stretched resources throughout what has become a very difficult period. During the pandemic the service has been responsible for awarding the various grants available to businesses as well as test and trace payments which we are committed to pay until 31st March 2022. In addition to this the service has been informed that it is also now responsible for administering the new Household Support Grant effective from 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022. It is currently not known if there will be a need to administer other similar grants or award schemes associated with life after Covid but it is prudent for the service to prepare for such eventualities. An online platform is required which allow businesses or individuals to apply for grants and Test and Trace payments, taking the administrative burden away from the service itself.
