The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) carried out a desktop review of its TPO files at the end of 2013 (phase 1), from which 37 TPO’s were identified as requiring a follow up site visit (phase 2).Phase 2 was successfully undertaken and completed in late 2014 / early 2015, and identified that the majority of the 37 TPO’s from phase 1 should be re-made as new, smaller TPO’s and the old files revoked. This will be the third and final phase of the TPO review and it is estimated that approximately 40 new TPO’s will be created.
