Review of Welsh Language Grant Scheme

The Welsh Government intends to invite tenders to undertake a review of its Grant Scheme to Promote and Facilitate the Use of the Welsh Language. The purpose of the review will be to provide an evidence base that will inform the future design and delivery of the Scheme, in the context of the Welsh Government’s strategy for the Welsh language, Cymraeg 2050: a million speakers. The contract will require expertise in a range of areas including theory-based research and evaluation; funding frameworks and programmes to promote social enterprise and partnership working, and language planning. Bidders will be strongly encouraged to consider how a consortium or partnership arrangement could enable them to bring together the skills and expertise required.Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn bwriadu gwahodd tendrau i gynnal adolygiad o’i Gynllun Grantiau i Hyrwyddo a Hwyluso’r Defnydd o’r Gymraeg.
