The work comprises energy upgrade works to the existing school building to inlcude Fabric energy upgrades to Roofs (including attic spaces and insulation to flat roof areas), External Walls (including dry lining and cavity fill insulation), Windows (window replacement to extension areas)., Mechanical (replacement of existing heating system to move over towards Heat Pump solutions etc).and Electrical elements (replacement of existing systems with more efficient systems, mainly pertaining to lighting). including associated site services and minor siteworks. The works are to be carried out within the confines of the Coláiste Iósaef, Kilmallock will remain functioning during the works.
