RFT-03-2021 - Provision of Services for a Waste Disposal Amnesty Day

Kildare County Council, in conjunction with the DECC and WERLA have allocated special funding towards a Mattress and Couch Amnesty scheme for 2021. The plan is for both schemes to be run jointly on the same day at the same facility, suitably located within the County on good access routes.The idea of the scheme is that members of the public can bring along their old mattresses, couches, and armchairs to a designated facility for free disposal at this one-off event. Kildare County Council are hereby seeking for expressions of interest from suitably licensed waste management and collection companies to partner with us for this event. The company must have a valid Waste Collection Permit and must be able to present plans to confirm their ability to deliver in accordance with the rules set out in this RFT.
