Rickmansworth is voluntarily following the restricted procedure as set out within the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR), however please note that this is considered a contract under the Light Touch Regime and therefore the School is not obliged to follow the full scope of the PCR., Rickmansworth School is a partially selective comprehensive academy with 1400 pupils on roll including 300 in the sixth form., Services are currently provided from a main dining area, external pod facility and a sixth form coffee/snack bar., The school also has extensive facilities for letting including a swimming pool, AstroTurf pitch and gym to which there may be a requirement to provide services at peak times., School Objectives, The School have a vision for its future catering services partner to deliver a first-class catering service to meet its key objectives:, -A good quality, affordable service with emphasis on healthy eating to enhance learning outcomes, -To provide an efficient, enjoyable and student friendly service with minimal queuing which is a highlight of the school day, -A well marketed service which adds to the student experience, actively supports wellbeing through healthy meal deals and is sensitive to environmental considerations, -A partner who supports and values the School catering team through training and personal development, -A partner who engages with the student council/school food groups, supports curriculum links and encourages participation via demonstrations, regular theme and celebration days and other ways to encourage healthy eating, -A proactive partnership which encourages sensible investment and rewards both parties for good performance.
