Descriptions
Ring Farms presently produce organic chickens and one of their by products is chicken litter. It is made up of peat, straw and chicken litter mix. Refer to attached RFT for description of site and its parameters. The existing shed infrastructure is in place. One dedicated area within the existing shed space will be dedicated to the housing of the processing plant mechanical, electrical and loading unloading utlising existing on site telehandling plant. The contract can be tendered for in lots or as one. Lot 1: The drying processing plant. this plant contains the drying and hammer mill process to dry and break down the chicken litter from its post chicken house status into a fine regular powder form material. This then must be automatically fed to a pelleting plant to cater for bucket filling. The plant should be capble of processing 2 tonnes per hour or as reasobably practicable as that. The equipment will support feeding of the raw material, drying, powdering, pelleting and finally store the pellets in a production hopper to faciliate manual bucket filling. Lot 2: The installation of 80 kW of rooftop solar to support the power requirements of the plant or a substantial part thereof during the summer sunny months of production. Inverter, G10 protection and relevant relays associated with minimum standards for ESBn commisiong for an MEC of up to 100kW off site in times where the on site demand is low or below the production level of same. Ideally one contractor will supply and install both lots. The appointed contractor will be required to liaise with all correspondance, applicaitons and commissioing of electrical infrastructure with the ESBN. Noting ESBN have provided a cost offer to upgrade the existing supply to the higher MIC rating. However the appointed contractor will be required to provide all electrical equipment with the required control, management and commisioning to the ESBn standards.All works. contracts and financial docs to Leader needs
