Risk-Management Advice and Guidance for a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Framework

Descriptions

The Department for Transport (DfT) is seeking external Advice and Guidance on the incorporation of risk in a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Framework. The Advanced Analytics Division (an operational research and data science team) within the Department for Transport is developing a multi-criteria decision analysis for the ongoing risk-management of the SS Richard Montgomery (SSRM) - a WW2 shipwreck. The SSRM was a US Liberty Ship that ran aground in the Thames Estuary in August 1944. Specific consultancy support is required to provide advice on the treatment of future and current risks within the multi-criteria decision model. This will provide assurance that the decision-making framework under development is appropriate and effective. The successful bidder will therefore need to demonstrate deep knowledge and extensive experience of incorporating assessments of risk and uncertainty within multi-criteria decision analyses. The full tender pack is accessible through DfT's e-Souring Portal https://dft.app.jaggaer.com/go/11322648017E49C21150 . Suppliers will need to register to access the tender pack and submit a bid. System reference Itt_703, procurement reference TRAS3073.
