Descriptions

The contract shall comprise the inspection, test and repair of Stairlifts and Domestic Lifts complying with BS5776:1996 (BS EN81-40:2008) Specification for Powered Stairlifts and BS5900:1999 Specification for Powered Domestic Lifts with partially enclosed cars and no lift-well enclosures. BS 5965:1980 Specification for manually driven balanced personal home lifts. BS 6440:1999 Power lifting platforms for use by disabled persons. Code of practice. All work complying with BS7255:2001 Safe Working on Lifts.
