The College of Engineering at Swansea University wishes to purchase a sheet coating and printing line for metal and plastic substrates.The roller coater is intended to develop manufacturing routes for energy harvesting coatings, produce technology demonstrators, establish technology scalability and provide operational recommendations to industry partners.The roller coater is a key piece of hardware for the SPECIFIC IKC (Sustainable Product Engineering Centre for Innovative Functional Industrial Coatings Innovative Knowledge Centre). The IKC will cover technology areas including PV, thermal solar, batteries, chemical conversion and large area lighting.
