94 Shed was built in the early 1990’s, the main building is 132m long and 85m wide, to both of the 132m long sides is a 12m wide canopy.
The work for the 94 Shed Roof Replacement includes the contractor design, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of a new roof to the seaward face of the existing building. The works shall be designed to allow the installation of solar panels in the future.
The work also requires the removal and disposal of the existing dilapidated roof cladding, which is at the end of its effective life. Whilst the cladding to the canopy section is dilapidated, it will not be replaced as part of these works.
