RTL054 - Breast Screening Services in Central and East London - NHS England London
Descriptions
The NHS England National Breast Screening Service currently commissions screening for women age 50-70 years (47 to 73 years where they are participating in the age extension trial) on a three yearly basis. It also provides screening for women at a high risk of breast cancer, where screening is provided for a wider age range and on a more frequent basis; MRI screening is also available where it is indicated. The service is the Clinical provision of Breast Screening which will be offered to a specific geographical area. NHS England (London) will wish to receive Expressions of Interest only at this stage from organisations, with the necessary capacity and capability (or a demonstrable ability to provide the necessary capacity and capability) to provide the range of services as set out in the accompanying documentation. Interested Applicants wishing to express an interest in this service and participate in the market engagement stage must respond to this advert on our procurement website at the link provided below. If you are not already registered on the portal you will need to register your organisation before you can continue with your Expression of Interest and this registration procedure will take 24hrs to turnaround from the submission of your registration. If you have not registered, please do so via: https://procontract.due-north.com/register. Once registered, you will need to navigate to "Current Opportunities". Within this area there is a project called “RTL054_Central and East London Breast Screening Service (CELBSS)”. Click the link for the opportunity and in the right hand box on the screen titled: “Expression of Interest Window”, please log-in and register your interest in this opportunity. Please follow the instructions to express an interest. You should then receive two emails; 1: advising that you have successfully registered your interest, 2: advising you that the documents are now available to download. You will then need to log back into the portal to access and download the documentation. Please note that by expressing an interest you are NOT committing yourself to submit a bid. Bidders are reminded of the steps that must be completed: 1. Ensure that your Organisation is registered on the portal (if not then remember it takes 24hrs for this to turnaround) and 2. Please express your interest via the online portal by 19th July 2016 at 12:00 noon. It is intended that a procurement process will commence in either August or September 2016 for a service start date in 2017. The final dates will be confirmed in due course. Please note this is purely a market assessment exercise to gather facts, generate interest and gauge the level of interest to inform the future procurement process. The procurement itself will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate in the future procurement will need to respond to the procurement advertisement once published. Please direct any questions via the portal.
