Descriptions
Rushcliffe School are requesting expressions of interest from Companies who would wish to enter into a lease partnership agreement with the School. The School is looking to appoint a contractor to provide investment to a level that will be sufficient to refurbish the existing all weather artificial sports facilities and erect a sports pavilion. The vision is for the refurbishment of two courts measuring a total area of 34.5 metres by 32.5 metres, and the refurbishment of an artificial multipurpose sport field measuring a total area of 63 metres by 101 metres. Each surface will need to have a suitably secure fence on all sides. The erection of sports facilities to accommodate a pavilion and changing rooms will also be granted , subject to planning consent, on land provided by the School within close proximity to the sports fields.The expectation is that the appointed contractor will have experience in similar projects and can demonstrate their ability to project manage the building works, from planning to completion, demonstrate their experience of operating a commercial sports facility including the maintenance of all the facilities, marketing and day-to-day management. The School has a strong desire for the appointed contractor to promote and engage with local community groups.The lease term will be a maximum period of 10 years, upon which at the expiry date that facilities (in full) will be retained in ownership by the School. During the lease period the School will require monetary consideration from the appointed contractor. The basis on which the monetary consideration is paid is open to negotiation.The School will require exclusive use of the facilities during core School opening hours.Expressions of interest will be acknowledged with the distribution of a pre-qualification questionnaire. Only the highest scoring submissions will be invited to formally tender for the contract.Further details will be provided to tenderers who are short listed to the tender stage of the procurement exercise.
