The Sustainable Building Envelope Demonstration (SBED) project is a £3m project, part funded by the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) under the ERDF West Wales and the Valleys Convergence Programme 2007–2013. The project is led by Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture, with Tata Steel as the industrial delivery partner (procured through the EU Tender process).The aim of this work is to undertake an independent evaluation on the SBED project progress and success. The external evaluations will be used to inform a wider group of stakeholders on the project progress and to disseminate the success of the project to as wide a group as possible. It will also aid the project management team in addressing issues for the future.The main aims of the evaluation include undertaking a robust assessment of whether the Project is on track to meet / has met its objectives and target outputs and results, to evaluate what lessons have been learned throughout the implementation of the Project and provide recommendations for the remainder of the project or for future projects.Tender documents are available from:https://in-tendhost.co.uk/cardiffuniversity/aspx/HomeThe deadline for tender submissions is Noon, Wednesday 31st July 2013.
