Westworks consortium are looking to appoint scaffolding contractors to supply and install scaffolding for all of its sites for the life of the 4 year framework. The geographical area to be covered by this framework covers the South and South west of England, and South Wales.The total estimated value is GBP 7 000 000-GBP 50 000 000 over the life of the framework. However, call-off of contracts of periods of over 4 years is possible and may increase these values accordingly. There is no guarantee that the estimated values will be achieved and they are for indicative projected value only.Bids are based on technical and geographical capability so as to encourage small to medium as well as larger enterprises to participate. Limited geographical coverage by a potential provider will not necessarily exclude them from the process as it is Westworks users aim to encourage local employment and engage with local businesses as well as engaging with other suitably qualified providers.Important note:It is not the intention to split the works by geographical lots but to award places on the framework based on having enough providers to deliver in all areas and to award works contracts by running mini-competitions (mini-tenders) from the framework.
