Descriptions
This is a preventative service designed to support young people to make a successful transition from compulsory schooling to post-16 participation. Surrey County Council (SCC) will provide with a list of those young people in year 11 deemed to be most at risk of becoming not in education, employment or training (NEET) in each contract year and the contractor will support them to identify a suitable progression pathway. Support shall be provided from the January of Year 11 up until second half term break of Year 12 and will include holiday periods, as necessary. Young people entering employment will continue to receive support for the same period as those who continue in education or training.Contract Term — 3 years and 2 Months with the option to extend by a further 1 year.This is a notice for social and specific services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU Article 74 — Health and Social Services.
