Descriptions
The objective of this ITT is to enable the renewal of the Vegetation Management Services contract to support Scottish Canals to deliver its obligations to maintain the canal side vegetation and customer service facilities by outsourcing to a professional vegetation management contractor. The grasslands, scrubland, hedges and trees along the waterways are an important landscape feature of the canal network. The vegetation also provides habitats for a diverse range of plants and animals that are important for the biodiversity of the canal corridor and surrounding areas.
