Scottish Funding Council (SFC) distributes significant sums in capital funding to colleges and universities to support them develop and maintain effective spaces for learning, teaching, and research. To address the risks of managing its large capital programmes with limited specialist internal resource, SFC has operated a Property Support Service (PSS) since 2006 to provide professional advice and guidance to its officers and Board, and where appropriate, to institutions in receipt of capital funding.It is envisaged that the PSS role will include, but will not be limited to, the following:- Review institutions monthly status reports (MSRs) on progress with projects and give guidance on their completion.- Monitor cash flow/drawdown profiles provided by institutions to help inform SFC budget management.- Prepare monthly project summary reports, specific assignment report and attend monthly meetings and ad-hoc meetings as required with SFC.- Undertake site visits of live capital projects and monitor their progression to completion.- Act as fund monitor as required.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=318126The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
