Descriptions
The SWAN Framework is a single supplier Framework where FLS will be one of many public sector organisations in Scotland using the Framework. FLS utilises SWAN for the provision of WAN services for both FLS and SF applications and infrastructure, and most importantly to enable the delivery of the SCOTS desktop platform as this requires the use of SWAN’s virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) tunnels to provide secured services. Continuity of service is paramount, and there is no viable and cost-effective alternative to SWAN by which FLS may meet its digital networking requirements and integration with the public sector digital network.
