SE Training - Social Enterprise Training Initiative (1)

Descriptions

West Limerick Resources in partnership with South Tipperary Development Company and South West Mayo Development Company invites submissions for the delivery of the Social Enterprise Training Initiative. This will involve working with up to 30 Social Enterprises (10 in each partner area) over a 16 month period; delivering group training in each area, collaborative training sessions across the three partner areas and bespoke in-house practical training in each enterprise. The aim of the project is to a) strengthen each social enterprise, b) highlight the diversity and value of social enterprises, c) document an innovative approach to developing social enterprises that can be replicated in the future and d) maximise the benefit of the co-operation approach to develop synergies and good practise to enhance Social Enterprises across the three partner areas. The successful tenderer should be able to demonstrate an innovative approach to training for social enterprises, melding cutting edge business and enterprise skills with an understanding of local and community development. They should be able to work with a diversity of groups, from the long established to recent start-ups, across a variety of sectors. They should be familiar with a range of disciplines that impact on social enterprises. They should be aware of the current policy landscape for both social and commercial enterprises and community and voluntary organisations. They should be able to deliver training in a practical hands-on way, which creates measurable, sustainable change in each participating social enterprise. They should take account of the restrictions arising from COVID 19 and should outline in detail the framework for the effective delivery of the programme in physical format and an alternative for full programme delivery online. The methodology for online delivery should be clearly outlined.
