As advertised on our Website, Forestry Commission Wales (FCW) is inviting tenders for providing; Security Guarding at operational work sites in Forestry Commission Wales managed woodlands across the South Wales Valleys. The services required include:- Cost effective security guarding to deter theft & damage occurring to Contractors plant, equipment and fuel that remain on site outside of normal working hours and weekends at numerous sites across South Wales. - Regular and detailed reporting of all site incidents and observations.- Monthly meeting between Security provider and FCW managers to plan and forecast costs of forthcoming months work, quarterly meeting to look at long term planning.- From FCW work programmes provide advice on most cost effective ways to guard the operation sites. FCW will only engage security providers with relevant Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licenses, under the scope of supply of this contract all security personnel engaged in this contract must carry “SIA Security Guard” Licenses.Over the coming 3 years it is anticipated that there will be over 120 separate works sites across South Wales.Work sites are very remote / isolated and the duration of any site will vary from short term (several days) to long term (several months).
