HLA typing for bone marrow volunteer samples at registration is currently performed at the ‘split specificity’ level using and in house PCR-SSP typing system. WTAIL now wish to procure a system that will enable allele level HLA-A, -B, -C, DRB1 and DQB1 typing of around 4,000 bone marrow volunteer samples using sequence based typing and big-dye terminator chemistry.
