Service Provider(s) for a Pakistan Education Innovation Fund.

DFID is seeking a Service Provider(s) to deliver its Education Innovation Fund (Phase 2). The Education Innovation Fund is not a traditional, transactional grants programme but an approach to improving quality education by opening up the system to new actors such as the private sector, social enterprises, Non-Governmental Organisations and individuals. We expect the Education Innovation Fund to operate nationally, across all Pakistan's provinces and areas. A separate Service Provider will be recruited to provide evaluation services for programme activities The Service Provider(s) will need:(i) a robust understanding of education and innovation networks;(ii) world class grant fund management processes, including ability to provide a platform for other funders interested in supporting innovations;iii) and strong networks in Pakistan and abroad in order to be able to identify and engage appropriately skilled professionals to implement coaching and mentoring elements. The Service Provider(s) will be responsible for:(i) accountability for the programme's outcome and output indicators;(ii) account management of grantees;(iii) stakeholders and partnership management; and (iv) and fiduciary risk management. DFID will be hosting a presentation and Q&A session about the project and the services required for interested parties. This will be in the form of a single 1 and a half hour session that will take place in Islamabad on Thursday 3.4.2014 between the hours of 19:00 and 20:30 Pakistan Standard Time (15:00 and 16:30 British Summer Time). This will be the opportunity for interested parties to learn more about DFID and the role expected of the successful bidder(s), and to discuss innovative approaches to programme delivery.
