Descriptions
Caerphilly County Borough Council requires a qualified and experienced provider to deliver a maintenance and repair service of stairlifts, vertical lifts (internal & external) and fixed track ceiling hoists (including the installation of replacement equipment) across the administrative area of the Council. The Council is responsible for approximately 309 stairlifts, 11 vertical lifts and 89 fixed track hoists within the Council's administrative area and requires a service engineer to provide the service to ensure the most minimal disruption to the vulnerable people that rely heavily on the equipment. The Council received approximately 350 requests to attend to stairlifts, approximately 79 requests to attend to fixed track hoists and approximately 10 requests to attend to vertical lifts during a twelve month period from April 2012 to March 2013.Note to register an interest in the arangement please email pricep@caerphilly.gov.uk no later than 23rd July 2013. Expressions of interest recieved after the deadline will not be considered.The tender will be a two stage process and bidders must pass stage 1 compliance and quality before their priced submission will be considered in the second stage commercial assessment which will be evaluated as lowest price.Expressions of interest / Requests to participate must be sent to the following email address: pricep@caerphilly.gov.uk to arrive no later than 23/08/2013. Tender submissions must be sent to the Head of procurement to arrive no later than 09/09/2013 An address label will be issued with the tender document.
