Descriptions
Subject to a formal OJEU tender process the medical device service is required to provide a total managed medical device maintenance, PPM within their respective timescales, call out, repair, calibration service, including managing any specialist sub-contracts for Southern Health within Hampshire. The service requirement includes performance, operational, contract and finance management. Total number of sites: 107 (including community hospitals, secure units, clinics, GP Practices Hampshire Wide). Total number of assets: 11 257 (May 2019). Staffing regularly using the equipment: 4 459. The medical device total 'end to end' managed service is inclusive of: - PPM, - asset only, - inspection only, - call outs, - repairs, - calibration, - commissioning, - decommissioning, - disposal (auction). There is also a requirement for management of specialist subcontracts, for specialist equipment, where the contractor is unable to directly maintain these items. A bidders open day will be held at SO40 2RZ on 3rd July 2019 and any potential bidders should register their intention to attend with Alan Chambers. The tender will be published, with a detailed specification and timelines via the Commercial Solutions Bravo portal in September 2019.
