Single Supplier Contract for Fire Risk Assessments Programme
Descriptions
Undertaking of the Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) Programme throughout the borough for a period of 3 years. Over a 3 year period the tower blocks, sheltered and hostels will require an FRA every year. We are nearing completion of the current street property programme so these will need to be done again in 3 years. Other properties require an FRA every two years. This is based on a risk assessment. The Council has a duty under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to undertake such inspections on a regular basis to ensure that its properties meet the relevant health and safety and fire regulation requirements.
