Single Turbine Project in South Wales - Option to Develop.This Request for Proposal (RFP) relates to renewable energy development opportunities in the Glyncorrwg, Margam and Penhydd Forest Blocks in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend CCs. The single turbine sites are within Strategic Search Area F (SSA F), as set out in the Welsh Assembly Government’s Technical Advice Note 8: Planning for Renewable Energy (July 2005).The land is managed by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) on behalf of the Welsh Government.The Bidding Developer selected through this process will be invited to enter into an exclusive Option Agreement with NRW, which will give the Bidding Developer sole right to plan the renewable energy development and apply for planning permission within the area defined.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=62034.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
