Boats. The Commecially Supported Shipping team has placed a contract for support of the Authority's small motorised crafts operated by the Naval Cadet Forces (NCF) and dinghies operated by the NCF and Royal Navy.The NCF currently includes the Sea Cadet Corp and the Combined Cadet Forces. These groups comprise of circa 350 individual units located throughout the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. There are approximated 320 small motorised crafts operated by the NCF. Support is required for repairs, rectification of defects and disposal of craft as and when required, and the management of reporting and auditing of works carried out on these craft, such that they meet all current and future standards for their continued safe operation.There are currently 7 classes of sail training dingies in use by the NCF and Royal Navy, for which there is a requirement for the supply of dinghies and spare parts, up to and including whole craft and associated trollies/trailers.
