Social Enterprise Pre-Start Online Toolkit

The Wales Co-operative Centre’s Social Enterprise Support project is designed to support social enterprises with the potential to grow and employ people in the short term. The support is primarily provided face-to-face by experienced business advisors and through training.However, this support is not currently available to groups in the very early stages of setting up a social enterprise (pre-start) or those with little likelihood of taking on employees. To meet this need, the Centre would like to develop a suite of online resources which can be accessed by groups or individuals to help them reach a point where they would be eligible for face-to-face support or training.To facilitate this work, the Centre now requires the services of an organisation (the “Organisation”) to develop a website which will host these online resources. The outcome will be to stimulate the creation of new social enterprises and generate leads for the Social Enterprise Support project.Initial work has already been carried out to compile a list of the resources required on the site and a proposed information architecture.On the basis of the tender proposal, one Organisation will be appointed to deliver this service (the “Service”).NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=13312.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
