The objective of this piece of work is to provide an opportunity for children to access social skills training in conjunction with support that will be delivered via the integrated autism service.We are looking for tenders to deliver against the following.Access to social skills development programme for 114 key stage 2 pupils across 8 local authority areas:a. Training for a total of 112 staff across 8 local authority areas to implement the programme.b. Support and advice in access and delivering the programme for 3 months following training.c. The programme will meet the following criteria:• be autism specific• have evidence of delivering improvements in the social skills of young people• be based on ongoing skills development, in line with the way in which social skills are acquired• be structured in approach• be adaptable to development age of young person• be delivered individually or via groups• provide ongoing outcome measurements to aid goal setting and monitoring of the individuald. Tender will be inclusive of all costs including resources required to utilise programme, training, venue hire, coordination, preparation and travel.e. Feedback on uptake and outcomes will be provided to the ASD Development Team on a quarterly basis.f. Contractor will advise ASD Development Team of any issues with implementation within 1 week of being made aware of them.g. Contractor will provide weekly updates to contract manager during periods of development.h. Project management in relation to training, implementation and delivery will be provided by the contractor.The key deliverables will be:a. Access to a social skills development programme for 114 key stage 2 pupils which meets the criteria set out in 4c.b. Provision of training in use of the programme for 112 staff across 8 local authority areas.c. 112 hours of support for professionals using the programme.d.
