The following local authorities in south west and central Wales (together referred to as “the Hub“ or “Hub Authorities”) are assessing their options for long-term residual waste treatment:— Bridgend County Borough Council,— Carmarthenshire County Council,— Ceredigion County Council,— City and County of Swansea,— Pembrokeshire County Council, and— Powys County Council.SLR Consulting Limited (SLR), as technical advisors to the Hub, are facilitating this Soft Market Testing (SMT) exercise. The objective of this SMT is to seek residual waste treatment service providers’ opinion and feedback to help inform its procurement strategy for the long term treatment of residual waste.If you are interested in contributing to this soft market testing exercise, please email Surabhin Chackiath (schackiath@slrconsulting.com) requesting the Soft Market Testing document.
