Somewhere Safe to Stay Hubs - as part of the Rapid Rehousing Pathway
Descriptions
In August 2018, the Government launched the Rough Sleeping Strategy, with an attached budget of £100m, which outlines the vision to support every person who sleeps rough off the streets and into suitable accommodation by 2027. In December 2018, The Government announced that Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) were successful in becoming a Rapid Rehousing Pathway (RRP) early adopter for rough sleepers. The money awarded to GCC will be used to fund two Somewhere Safe to Stay (SStS) Hubs, one located in central Gloucester and one in Central Cheltenham.
