Specialist Services for Disabled Children, Young People and their Families

Derbyshire County Council are looking to procure a Framework that will support children and young people with disabilities and / or additional needs

This includes: Physical impairments, sensory impairments, severe learning disabilities, children that are non-verbal, children who are receiving palliative care or have complex health needs , children with autistic spectrum disorders.

The aim of the framework is to deliver high quality, outcome driven, bespoke services to children, young people and their families via:

•Community based befriending and mentoring services

•Overnight short break provision

•Group Care

•Home care Services

Engagement process description
The event will be held on Monday 21st July 2025 @ 10am - 12pm.

The new Disabled Childrens framework is due to start on 1st May 2026, and this event will focus on providing further information on the scoping and shaping of the new framework and additional information on the procurement process that will be undertaken.

There will be some short presentations delivered and the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
