Descriptions

The aims and objectives of the service are as described below:•To provide individual counselling for adults who have been sexually abused as children.•To protect the good health both mental and physical of persons who have been victims of sexual abuse by the provision of therapeutic intervention through individual and group counselling.•To advance the education of persons working with those who have been victims of child sexual abuse.•To provide individual counselling at venues across Wrexham County to adults who have been sexually abused as children and help them to work through the emotional impact of abuse so that they are able to live full and productive lives.•All counsellors will be trained to or working towards diploma level.•To offer a minimum of 1000 one to one counselling sessions per annum.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=40172.
