The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales has advertised an invitation to tender for a project to examine speech language and communications delivery in Wales. The aim of the project is to examine how young people throughout the youth justice system who have speech language and communication issues receive services to meet these specific needs. The Youth Justice Board would like to use this information as a means to improve the way that young people in the youth justice system will receive these services in the future. It will also provide a basis from which the YJB can work with the Welsh Government to define a joint approach to speech, language and communication needs for the youth justice system in Wales.The closing date for this tenders submissions is the 12th July and interested potential suppliers can access the project specification by registering on the Home Office Police ICT Directorate e-sourcing Portal https://hopcd.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml
