Cardiff Council is looking to appoint a sponsor to work as a road safety partner. The selected partner will be required to sponsor a range of activities that are part of the programme over a 3 year period, the Road Safety Partner will:- Be seen on Uniforms of School Crossing Patrol Officers by 1000’s of drivers daily whilst keeping our Officers bright and seen.- Our In school educational mascot for road safety campaigns “Roadie” will wear his Partner badge with pride and hand out his Activity book to all the young road users in Cardiff to take home.- Be on the gates of nearly 100 Cardiff Primary Schools promoting safer driving.- On green cones promoting safer driver behaviour outside Primary Schools- Be affiliated with our ‘Megadrive’ event aimed at all new drivers and potential new drivers in schools and providing a virtual driving simulator experience,highlighting hazard perceptionThe activities will include:- SCP Uniforms - Winter & Summer Coats- Green cones- Banners- Roadie Activity Books- Roadie Posters- Roadie Story / Colour Books- Virtual Driving Simulator
